Life can feel a lot like the weather—just when you think you’ve got it figured out, it changes on you! One day everything is bright and sunny, and the next, you’re caught in a downpour without an umbrella. 🌧️ This past weekend, Michael Walker shared a message titled, “A Time for Everything as We Are Being Prepared for Eternity,” and it got me thinking about how we handle the seasons of life that don’t go according to our plan.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in a season, share a comment below! You never know who might need to hear your story.

The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Michael reminded us that every moment, whether it’s full of laughter or filled with tears, is part of God’s bigger plan. Just like we can’t make winter skip straight to summer (no matter how much we’d like to!), we can’t rush or avoid the seasons God has set for us. He’s got it all timed out perfectly.

Michael said, “Either God is in control of everything, or He’s not in control of anything.” That’s a lot to take in, right? But think about it—it’s actually super comforting. It means that when life feels like one big mess, God’s still got it under control. And here’s the good news: “This world is not our home; we’re just passing through.” If we can see our lives from God’s eternal perspective, it gets a lot easier to trust that every season has a reason—even the tough ones.

Think about a time when you felt stuck in a long, cold “winter” season. Maybe you felt like you were in the middle of a snowstorm that would never end. Looking back, can you see how God used that time to help you grow, even if it felt like you were just shoveling snow? Share your experience in the comments—your story might encourage someone else who’s going through a tough time!

Ever wish you could control the weather? Imagine the chaos—snow in your backyard, sunshine in the front. It’s a good thing we’re not in charge of the seasons of the year or the seasons of life! God’s timing may not always make sense to us, but He sees the bigger picture, and we can trust Him in that.

Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for every season in my life. Help me to trust Your timing and to see each moment as part of Your greater plan. Give me peace to embrace where I am, knowing You are in control. Teach me to trust You more deeply every day, no matter what season I’m in. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Here’s what to remember: God is using every season—whether it’s fun, frustrating, or just plain confusing—to prepare you for something bigger. So, hang in there, and trust His timing. And if this message speaks to you, drop a comment below. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
