Ever felt like you’re running late to a meeting or an appointment, and every red light in town decides to show up just for you? Frustrating, right? Sometimes, life feels like a series of red lights—no matter how much you want to move forward, you’re stuck waiting. This past weekend, Michael Walker shared some powerful thoughts on trusting God’s timing, even when life feels stalled, in his message, “A Time for Everything as We Are Being Prepared for Eternity.” Let’s take a closer look.

Michael reminded us that God is always at work in our lives, even in the waiting. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Notice it doesn’t say “in our time,” but in His time. Sometimes, we want things to happen right now, but God sees the bigger picture. Imagine baking cookies and pulling them out of the oven too soon. Sure, you might get a gooey bite, but they aren’t fully baked! 🍪 The same is true with our lives. God knows exactly when things should happen for our ultimate good.

Michael said, “Trusting in God means trusting in God’s timing.” Think about that. If God created the universe, doesn’t it make sense that He knows the perfect time for everything in our lives? When you’re stuck in life’s waiting room, remember that God’s delays aren’t denials—they’re just part of His perfect plan. Share your thoughts on this below! Have you ever experienced a time when waiting actually turned out to be a blessing?

Here’s something to consider: When we trust that God knows what He’s doing, we can find peace in any season—even the ones where we feel like we’re not moving at all. Think about a time in your life when you felt delayed or frustrated. What did you learn from that experience? How did God show up in ways you didn’t expect? Comment below with your story—you never know who it might encourage!

And don’t forget, even when it feels like life is stuck at a red light, God’s timing is always perfect. He’s never early, never late, but always right on time.

Let’s pray: Lord, help me to trust Your timing, even when it doesn’t match mine. Teach me to find peace in the waiting, knowing that You are making everything beautiful in its time. Open my eyes to see Your hand at work in my life, even in the seasons of delay. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Remember this: God’s delays are not His denials. Every “wait” is an opportunity for God to do something wonderful in your life. Keep trusting, and keep believing!
