Kids Ministry at Church in the City

At Church in the City our kids (infant through 8th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit our Children's Equipping Center.

Your first visit

Here's what to expect when visiting the C.E.C. for the first time:

Upon arrival, we will direct you to the appropriate classroom based on your child's age. There we will meet your family, check your child in as a guest, and then we will give you one of our Family Registration Forms which will ask for more details about your family to speed up the check in process for your next visit!

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

How check-in works

Before Service: You will sign-in your child at their age-appropriate class room and we will give you a copy of our Family Registration Form. If you visit us again we ask that you return the completed form to us fill so we can formally register your child for their specific classroom. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and sign your child out in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen and we will also attempt to send a text message to your cell phone directly. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

Parent's Viewing Room or "Cry Room"

We do offer childcare during service for infants but we also have a Parent's Viewing Room or "Cry Room" that is available for mothers and fathers with infants. This room is reserved exclusively for parents with infants to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment.

Meet our Kids Director

Tina Moore has been serving at CITC-BA since 2011 and began teaching Messianic Shabbat School in 2013. She later stepped in as Director of our Children's Equipping Center.
