Have you ever felt weak? I don’t mean the “I skipped breakfast, and now I’m regretting it” kind of weak (though that’s pretty real too). I’m talking about those moments when you feel like you just don’t have what it takes. Maybe it’s that voice in your head saying, “I’m not good enough, not smart enough, not strong enough.” Sound familiar?

This week, we’re continuing our dive into Simon Obert’s message, “No Limits.” Simon brought up something profound: that in God’s kingdom, weakness isn’t a disadvantage—it’s actually a strength. Now, that’s a twist, isn’t it? Most of us spend our lives trying to hide our weaknesses. We put on a brave face, act like we’ve got it all together, and hope no one sees what’s really going on underneath.

But here’s the kicker: God sees our weaknesses, and He’s not put off by them. In fact, He loves to work through them! Simon quoted the Apostle Paul, who said, “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13). Paul had learned that his strength didn’t come from his own abilities but from God working in and through his weaknesses.

Simon said something that really stuck with me: “Weakness is strength in the kingdom.” Think about that for a second. What if the very thing you’re trying to hide or “fix” is the thing God wants to use the most?

When you feel weak, what’s your first instinct? Is it to hide, to cover it up, or maybe to push harder, trying to prove you’re strong enough? What if, instead, you stopped and said, “Okay, God, I’m feeling pretty weak right now. What do You want to do through this?”

Here’s a fun thought experiment: Imagine God holding a “Strength in Weakness” contest. People are lining up, and everyone’s trying to hide their flaws and imperfections, but God’s calling out, “Nope, show me the weak spots! That’s where I do my best work!” And suddenly, everyone’s comparing scars like kids on a playground. “Oh, you think that’s weak? Check this out!”

But seriously, when we embrace our weaknesses, God steps in and shows His strength in ways we can’t even imagine. It’s like Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”

Let’s take a moment to reflect: What’s an area where you feel weak right now? How would it change things if you believed that’s where God wants to show His power? What would it look like to stop hiding your weakness and start letting God use it?

Let’s pray: “Lord, thank You for reminding me that my weaknesses are not flaws to be hidden but places where You want to show Your power. Help me to embrace my weaknesses and lean on Your strength. Show me how to live with confidence, knowing that Your grace is more than enough. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Remember, the next time you feel like you’re not enough, God’s looking at you with a smile, ready to say, “Perfect! Now let’s get to work!”
