Founding / Senior Pastors

Michael and Brenda founded Church in the City-Beth Abraham in 1991. The church has been ministering to the poor, oppressed, and needy, along with the at-risk youth in the inner city of Denver, for over 25 years. Pastor Michael has worked together with several humanitarian ministries in the inner city of Denver, such as the Denver Rescue Mission, Urban Youth Ministries, Whiz Kids, etc.

Paul Northrup

Associate Pastor / CFO

Paul is an Associate Pastor, CFO, and a board member at Church in the City – Beth Abraham, as well as a board member and part-time teacher at the Inner City Christian School in Denver. In his role as Associate Pastor, Paul leads the Men’s Ministry and oversees the Hospitality Ministry. Paul and his family have attended Church in the City – Beth Abraham since 1997.
