🌟 New Episode Alert: “Identity Matters” 🌟
Ever feel like you’re wearing a mask or carrying around labels that just don’t fit? In this episode of CITCBA Insights,Simon Obert dives into Identity Matters—because who you really are goes way beyond any label or expectation.
🔍 “I tried to change my name in junior high,” Simon admits, sharing his story of trying to reinvent himself. We’ve all been there, right? Trying to be someone we’re not, hoping to fit in or feel valued. But here’s the real deal: You’re already valued. God’s got a plan for you, and it’s not about who others say you should be. 🙌
✨ “You are special because I made you and I don’t make mistakes.” Wow, right? That’s a line from Max Lucado’s You Are Special. Simon unpacks this powerful story, reminding us that no matter how many “dots” or “stars” others try to stick on us, we’re defined by God’s love alone.
📖 Scripture Highlights:
- Romans 12:2 – “Don’t conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
- Proverbs 23:7 – “As a person thinks in their heart, so they are.”
- Romans 8:16-17 – “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. If we are children, then we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.”
