Pastor Simon Obert illustrates the importance of the heart and the different “rooms”… or aspects… of the heart that we need to allow Jesus to have access to. Pastor Simon emphasizes the need to guard our hearts, as the Bible teaches, and to not harden our hearts against God. Using the analogy of a house with different “rooms” to represent the various aspects or facets of a person’s heart; some of these rooms may be open and accessible to Jesus, while we keep others locked and closed off.
