Pastor Michael Walker discusses the concept of “spiritual junk food” and how it can lead to spiritual malnutrition and starvation among believers. Pastor Michael uses the Book of Judges to illustrate how people can be drawn to practices and beliefs that satisfy their desires but do not truly nourish their spiritual lives.
The overall message is a call for believers to examine their spiritual diets and ensure they are feeding on the nourishing “solid food” of God’s Word, rather than the “junk food” of self-made religion and self-promotion. We must align our lives and priorities with God’s truth, rather than doing “what is right in our own eyes.”
