The Civil War of a Believer – a powerful and eye-opening message from Michael Walker – explores the deep spiritual battle waging within every believer. Drawing from Judges 8-9 and the story of Abimelech, this message uncovers the consequences of failing to let God rule over every part of our lives. Like Israel in the time of the Judges, when we leave a void in our hearts, something else will take the throne—whether it’s the flesh, temptation, or worldly desires.
Michael Walker vividly illustrates this struggle through the life of Charles Spurgeon, the Apostle Paul’s inner conflict in Romans 7, and the battle between walking in the Spirit versus living in the flesh. Just as Israel crowned a false king in their rebellion, we too risk surrendering control to the wrong ruler when we fail to submit fully to God.
Are you feeling the tension of this internal war? Are you ready to claim victory through the power of the Holy Spirit? This message will equip you to walk in faith, recognize the dangers of compromise, and invite God to reign over every area of your life.
