🎧 New Episode Alert: “Treasure Hunters” by Simon Obert 🎧
Ever feel like you’re on a treasure hunt but not sure what you’re searching for? In this episode of CITCBA Insights, Simon Obert takes us on a fun and meaningful journey to discover what real treasure is. Spoiler: it’s not gold coins or pirate loot—it’s wisdom, relationships, and the things that last forever.
Simon dives into Proverbs 25:2 (“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings”) and Matthew 6:19-21 to help us see the difference between storing up treasures on earth and treasures in heaven. And trust me, the eternal ones are where it’s at!
He shares some personal stories—like how thrifting at Goodwill for eBay treasures with his wife is like hunting for spiritual treasures (and yes, there’s even a hilarious bit about wanting Fabio-level hair in heaven 😂).
🔑 Takeaways you don’t want to miss:
- “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21)
- We are God’s ultimate treasure—and He went all in for us.
- Wisdom is like the ultimate treasure map, guiding us toward the things that truly matter. (Proverbs 2)
If you’re ready to dig into the kind of treasure that actually matters, give this episode a listen!
