Pastor Simon Obert discusses the importance of community, and its biblical foundations. Community is God’s idea, not just a human construct… and it is rooted in the very nature of the Triune God. While obstacles to community are inherent.. to include selfishness, grumpiness, lack of vulnerability, and an unwillingness to serve and sacrifice for others… Yeshua modeled the characteristics of a healthy community: warmth, welcoming, wisdom, and willingness to serve and sacrifice.
Pastor Simon emphasizes that the ultimate goal of community is to glorify God and draw the world to the knowledge of Yeshua as the Messiah and Savior.

Pastor Michael Walker expounds upon the message of the gospel as a message of freedom in Yeshua, and discusses how legalism seeks to add unnecessary rules and requirements to one’s spiritual walk… taking away the freedom Yeshua has provided.
Just as the early church faced a conflict between Jewish and Gentile believers over the issue of legalism that threatened to divide the church… we too must remember that salvation is by grace through faith in Yeshua alone, not by works or adherence to the Mosaic law.
God desires unity among believers, not division caused by legalistic attitudes. Believers should not judge or burden one another over matters of personal conviction or preference in worship.
