We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired, without error in the original manuscripts.

We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of His people and of the world; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.  Because of this, we give prominence not only to the practical and scholarly teaching of the Word but also to intimate and expressive worship and Spirit-inspired and personally focused ministry.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit.  We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal, visible return to earth.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Jesus Christ.  We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide.  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all biblical gifts of the Spirit.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice and are therefore under condemnation; that God renews, by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the believer with the Holy Spirit and empowers them for service.

We believe in the universal church, the living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head, and all renewed persons are members.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.  We believe in baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38) and communion open to all believers in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross.

We believe that Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a time undisclosed by the Scriptures.

We believe that Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. One day, all believers in Christ will also be physically resurrected in glorified bodies to their eternal reward in heaven with God.

We believe that Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe after living one life on earth, those who have rejected Christ will be judged justly by God and sent to Hell, where they will be eternally tormented together with the devil and the fallen angels.

We believe in chastity for single men and women believers, fidelity for married men and women believers, and the sacredness of marriage. We define marriage as a union between one born a man and one born a woman and that romantic and sexual contact between the same sex is sinful.
