Welcome back! We’re continuing our journey through Paul Wilber’s message “The 3 P’s of Warfare: Lessons From The Battlefield.” Today, we’re going to look at the third “P”: Partnering. You’ve probably heard the phrase, “There’s strength in numbers,” and when it comes to spiritual warfare, this couldn’t be more true.
Paul Wilber emphasized how crucial it is for us to partner with one another in the body of Christ. We weren’t meant to fight our battles alone. Just like in the military, where soldiers depend on their comrades, we too need to rely on our brothers and sisters in Christ. Life can feel overwhelming, but God has designed us to walk through it together, encouraging, praying, and supporting each other.
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” (Psalm 133:1, NIV)
When we come together, united in purpose and faith, God’s blessing rests on us. Wilber reminded us that this partnership isn’t just about our local church community; it’s about joining hands with believers all over the world. Together, we form an unstoppable force for God’s Kingdom.
Have you ever tried to do something difficult on your own, only to realize it would have been much easier with help? Whether it’s a physical task or a spiritual challenge, we often try to “tough it out” alone. But God never intended for us to bear the weight of life’s battles by ourselves. When we partner with others, we not only share the burden, but we also become stronger.
Take a moment to think: Who has God placed in your life that you can partner with? How can you be an encouragement to someone who might be facing their own battles?
Paul Wilber highlighted that one of the most powerful forms of partnership is prayer. When we come into agreement in prayer, there is incredible power. In fact, Jesus Himself said, “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19, NIV). Imagine what can happen when we partner together in prayer!
Wilber used a phrase that really stuck with me: “When we fight together, we win together.” It’s a simple but powerful truth. In unity, there is victory.
Let’s pray: Lord, thank You for placing people in my life to walk with me through the challenges I face. Help me to be a good partner in prayer, encouragement, and support to those around me. Teach me to lean on the strength that comes from unity in the body of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
We are not meant to fight our battles alone. God gives us strength in unity and power when we partner with others in prayer and purpose. Let’s fight together and win together.
