Here we are at the final part of our journey through Paul Wilber’s message “The 3 P’s of Warfare: Lessons From The Battlefield.” Today, we’re going to wrap things up by talking about the ultimate victory we have in Christ. Wilber referred to this as the “Game of Thrones,” not the TV show, but the real battle that’s been happening since the beginning of time—the battle for God’s throne.

At the heart of this spiritual warfare is a truth that we need to hold onto: no matter how fierce the battle seems, we already know how it ends—God wins! There is one true King, and no enemy can take His throne. This is our source of hope and confidence.

“The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.” (Psalm 103:19, NIV)

What a comforting verse! No matter how chaotic things get, God is still on the throne. He is in control, and His Kingdom cannot be shaken. Paul Wilber reminded us that while the enemy may try to convince us that he can overthrow God’s rule, it’s nothing more than a lie. The real “Game of Thrones” was settled long ago, and we are on the winning side.

Have you ever felt like the struggles you face seem too big? Sometimes, the weight of our circumstances can feel overwhelming, like we’re caught in the middle of a battle that’s impossible to win. But here’s the truth: the victory has already been won. When Jesus rose from the dead, He conquered sin, death, and every power of darkness. We don’t fight for victory; we fight from victory.

Paul Wilber highlighted that part of our role in this battle is to stand firm in the victory that Christ has already won. This isn’t a passive stance; it’s an active one. It means that every time the enemy tries to bring us down, we stand on the truth of who God is and what He has already accomplished.

What battles are you currently facing where you need to remind yourself that God has already won? Take a moment to reflect: Are you fighting in your own strength, or are you standing in the victory Christ has already secured?

One of Wilber’s most striking quotes from this message was, “The captain of the hosts of heaven has never lost a battle, and He’s not about to start now.” That’s a powerful reminder for us as we face the challenges of life. No matter what comes our way, we can rest assured that the outcome is already sealed.

Let’s pray:  Lord, thank You for the victory You have already won through Christ. Help me to remember that I don’t have to fight for victory, but I can stand in the victory You have secured. Give me the strength and faith to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You are always on the throne. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The battle has already been won. Stand firm in the victory of Christ, knowing that no enemy can overthrow the King of Kings. You are on the winning side!
